Hello all,
In about a week, we will be leaving for the red-rock country of Southern Utah and Northern Arizona for an extended visit. In an effort to capture the free-spirited nature of our youth (ha) we will be car camping for a good part of the time, stopping at motels only when we can no longer stand each others "presence".
We will attempt to keep this site updated as we move along. We will add some pictures and give some hints about where we might be going next.
As of now, we have only our first stop determined. We plan to drive, in one day, to Great Basin National Park, camp nearby (or in the park if possible) and visit Lehman Caves the next day. After that, we head southeast toward Bryce National Park. That should only take a day. We might stop somewhere along the way so as to enter Bryce at a decent time the next morning. Likely, we will spend some number of days in Bryce and then journey on.
Stay tuned.....
